Announcement JIPP International Admission Round 1, 2026

2026 Admission Announcement (International Round 1)

You have the opportunity to submit your JIPP application during two rounds for Academic Year 2026. These rounds are as follows:

  • International Round 1:  December 22, 2025, to February,6, 2026
  • International Round 2:  March 20 to May 1, 2026 (The second round of application will take place on the condition that the announce number is not met in the first round.)

International Admission Requirements for the Academic Year 2026

To apply to JIPP, prospective students are required to:

 

• International Applicant qualifications

  1. Applicant must be at least 16 years of age by May of the year of enrollment at Chulalongkorn University.
  2. Transcript, Have completed, or be presently enrolled in their final year of secondary school, the equivalent of Grade 12 in the US system OR year 13 in the British system OR GED OR IGCSE as an equivalent study at high school (M6) will be also taken into consideration
  3. A Foreign/Uncertified High School Diploma must request for a Certificate of Equivalency (https://hsces.atc.chula.ac.th) For students applying with GED, AP, IB, OR other Qualifications from Abroad,
  4. Entry Requirement:
    For applicants must attain the minimum score in English Proficiency Tests and Academic Aptitude tests.
  1. Transcript OR other with Equivalence Certificate
  2. English Proficiency Tests, An applicant must submit a score from one of the following English tests:

    • TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test) with a minimum score of 88 (With a minimum score of 19 for Listening, Reading, Speaking, and 21 for Writing) Send Score Report via College Board to JIPP Code: 7203; OR
    • IELTS with a minimum score of  6.5 (With a minimum score of 6.0 in each sub-band)
      Send Score Report via College Board to JIPP; OR
    • CU-TEP (Not including speaking) with a minimum score of 104

  3. Academic Aptitude tests, applicants must submit a score from one of the following tests:
    • SAT (Math and Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) with a minimum score of 1200  
      Send Score Report via College Board to JIPP Code: 7433; OR
    • CU-AAT (Academic Aptitude Test of Chulalongkorn University)
      by achieving the total score from the Verbal Section and Math Section with a minimum score of 1200

**The scores must come from the test taken on the same date, and they must be the scores from the test taken no more than 2 years prior to the application deadline.

The Cost of the Application

Application Fee, The fee is 1,000 Baht per application.

Selection Criteria for Admission (100%)

Criteria for Shortlisting Applicants for Interview

  1. The number of shortlisted applicants will be twice the number of available seats.
  2. Selection will be based on the following:

SAT (Math & Evidence-Based Reading and Writing) : 60%

IEALTS/TOEFL/CU-TEP : 40%

 

The final score will be determined by the following weights:  

  • SAT or CU-AAT: 40% (approx.)
  • IELTS (Academic) or TOEFL (internet-based) or CU-TEP: 30% (approx.)
  • Online Interview: 30%

 

Please note that there are adjustments to the admission criteria, effective from the 2026 Admissions Intake. The changes are as follows:

  1. IB and AP scores will no longer be accepted for admission.
  2. The minimum SAT score requirement will increase from 1100 to 1200.
  3. The minimum CU-AAT score requirement will increase from 1030 to 1200.
  4. The number of candicates invited to the interview stage will be limited to twice the number of available seats in each round based on SAT scores and IELTS score (or TOEFL or CU-TEP).
  5. The minimum score for IELTS, TOEFL (Internet-based), and CU-TEP will remain unchanged.
