Biography


With a scholarship from the Government of Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Pimmada earned a Ph.D. in international development, specializing in education and human resource development. Her primary research interests center on inclusivity and cultural diversity, particularly in formal education settings. Her Ph.D. dissertation investigated how teachers’ levels of intercultural sensitivity determine the implementation of culturally responsive teaching and its influence on the social integration of ethnic minority students in multicultural classrooms. Prior to her role as a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Psychology, she worked in a research project at Nagoya University, Japan, looking into knowledge and skills development among industrial workers.
